Background
My colleague, Dan Bourgeois is in charge of the maintenance for all of the sports facilities at the University of Minnesota. Among his responsibilities has been ice resurfacing during Gopher games, so he understantds how much fun it is to ride the ice resurfacer.
Inspired by this notion, he started designing the Cold Rod 12 years ago and over a 10 year period developed and constructed it.
I am now helping him sell his creation.
Dan is a meticulous craftsman and the "Cold Rod" is constructed flawlessly; he has invested a great deal of time and resources to manufacture this one-of-a-kind creation.
Dan informs me that this is the only street legal "ice resurfacer-like" machine in existence.

- The engine is a 350 c.i. Chevrolet, it has 4 bolt mains, sweetened heads, electronic fuel injection.
- All rated at 350 horse power.
- The frame and body are all steel and hand built.
- The Cold Rod has been up to 75 miles per hour and logged several hundred miles on the interstate.
- Cold Rod drive train parts can be purchased anywhere auto parts are sold.
