Podium's Event Essentials

At any athletic event there is always a myriad of moving parts that all have to be coordinated perfectly to ensure a high quality experience for each and every participant, sponsor, volunteer, municipality and facility that we work with. 

Combined the partners of Podium have over 60 years of sports management experience. The 1,500 + events that we have produced have involved some 800,000 participants.

Our event management experience covers a lot of ground:

• 5K and 10K fun events like the Reindeer Run or Blubber Run.
• Events in facilities like the Rollerblade Rollerdome at the Metrodome or Dog Days. 
• Half marathon and full marathon events like the Saint Paul Inline Marathon, Minnesota Half Marathon or the Lake Minnetonka Half Marathon.
• Triathlons - Podium partner Marilyn Franzen directed the Lifetime Fitness Triathlon from its inception and for a 12 year stretch to follow. Further, in her role as Director of Athletic Events at Lifetime Fitness, Marilyn and her team were responsible for hundreds of events at locations across the country.
• World Cup and World Championship event coordination for Olympic sports organizations including sponsor activation and VIP hosting.
• Fund raising and charity events, dinners and auctions.

Many of the events that we have produced are local to the Minneapolis / Saint Paul market.  However we have been involved in the production of a variety of regional and national event series.
